Critique my bike fit

Not sure if this is the right place or not, but I made some slo-mo videos of me on the bike and would appreciate any feedback.

  • My quick thoughts...

    1. It's a fairly upright position. Is that for comfort reasons or because that's just how the bike was setup? I would drop some spacers to get lower and more aero if comfort allows.

    2. You're too far back on your saddle. You kind of want the center of the BB to be aligned with the center of your hip. You're a few inches behind that. That's a less powerful position plus you're a little stretched out from an elbow angle perspective but not too bad. Lowering the stem will stretch you out even more though. You either need to ride more on the nose of the saddle or slide the saddle forward... probably a combination of the two.

    3. Your seat height might be a little low but not something I'd be real concerned with.
  • Thanks Bob, I posted on that thread. I thought I had seen that but could not find it... I will try moving the seat forward to see how it feels. Yes, I was also thinking my seat is too low, so I'll put it up a bit. I will also try lowering the bars and see how it feel comfort wise.
