February Half Marathon

Hey everyone! So I just watched Coach P's video on half marathon pacing/ why to do a half marathon at the end of OS.  It got me thinking... does anyone have any suggestions for a half marathon to do at the end of OS in New England? I live in CT but am willing to drive to a surrounding state for a good race. Thanks!

Laura, Half at The Hamptons in Hampton, New Hampshire is a good one. Flat course, start and finish along the ocean, and some hot soup at the finish.

Here are a few I have found. I'm thinking about savin rock, Danbury or Ridgefield. I know they are later than feb. but I'm assuming I won't get a lot of outdoor miles in around that time and the thought of 10mi runs on the 'mill doesn't thrill me. A hilly race would be good for me for Quassy prep.

Laura, there is also the Hyannis Half on Cape Cod. I had looked at this as a winter marathon a few times but never ran it.

I'm headed down to Myrtle Beach again on Feb.7th or 12th...something like that...LOL...a good resource for finding races is this site...I think its the best...click on Races, and view map, by state, by months, by race type..its great.
