(Beta) The EN Ulta Marathon Training Plan

That's right....ANOTHER NEW TRAINING PLAN. Okay, well almost a full training plan. 

Since this is a first take at a plan, it's more template resource than an official hard coded plan. But this is where you can give me feeback on the plan to make edits and changes, etc....thanks for your inspiration and feedback (in advance).

  • Thanks Patrick for getting this done, my Ultra is 13 weeks away.   The plan looks pretty good to me.  What do you think about adding some of the bike work (from the OS) during the week? (As long as fatigue doesn't get to great) 

  • Thanks for pulling this together - it will be the basis for my plan in 2014 - post IMMT in prep for the Fall 50 in Door County, WI @ the end of October!
  • I'm in to give input on this. Doing a marathon on December 27th then extending for my first 50K of single-track trails in February. The former is a grudge run. The latter is just to say I did it so the focus is not on speed, but accomplishment and enjoying the trails.
