December Run Focus?

Hi there Coach P!  Hope your shoulder is on the mend finally!

I am off from work from 12/20-1/2 and would like to do some kind of run focus, without compromising my NOS.  What can I do to kick up the running a notch?  Run everyday for the 10 days? I typically just do MS on the OS runs (I'm doing the run focus plan so I have an extra Z4 run on Fri) because I usually run on the treadmill except for the Sunday run.  So adding frequency is preferable.  (I can only tolerate so much on the 'mill)

Wanted to see what would work and how much & what intensity.

  • @Kim we do a TEAM RUN CHALLENGE from 12/25 to 1/1 which gets you most of the way (everyone is in the same boat this time of year!)...you can start earlier maybe? There is info at the top of the dashboard. Basically we are looking for consistency without excessive intensity or volume...which the challenge gets you...can you check that out and then maybe we can map something?
