This week - hell in a handbasket
So - this week for me really went sour quickly. Monday my car broke down, on my way home from work.... Needless to say, I did not get to run that day. The skewer for my indoor trainer was inside my car also, when it was towed.... along with issues in my personal life.
To make a long story short, I have been stressed and not sleeping all week, in addition to my training set backs. I was able to start to get back on track Thursday, in a very exhausted state. I ran on Friday, did a easy 30 minute run after my ride yesterday, and did my run today. I don't feel that this week was a good "test" week for me. I'm mentally kind of out of it, and picking up the pieces.
What should I do? Go by what I did this week? Make next week a test week? Thanks!

You are right to get back into it...I would suggest you bump your plan back a week, so that you test the week after Xmas. So either do Week 7 this week or plan in the run challenge (depending on your situation / equipment) and then we get back to week 8 next week....after your testing we can decide whether we want to keep you on that path or have you skip ahead a week as a bit of catch up (that's more of a macro / season thread question)...
