holidays and training
hey patrick. im on holidays on a remote beach in brazil. im on my last two weeks of the OS training plan and all i have here is the ocean, the beach is slightly uneven and theres a sand road that runs along the beach. what should i do? should i just do open water swims? could i run on the beach barefoot? ill try to send you a couple of pictures of what i have available. cheers.

Swim as you can, run, but keep it short (road better then the beach which could be slanted / bother your ITB). We'll "recover" when you get back..so reach out to me then...so jealous!!
ok. just saw this. i was doing week 14 this week, and i was about to do my first bike test today. but i could push it back for next week. is that ok? gustavo.
Can i do the bike test indoors? Just realized its snowing in nyc (i was gonna do it today) and im off to london tomorrow until sat. Cheers.

I basically run almost every day while i was away.
Now, per schedule, i should be doing the week 11 of intermediate Half Ironman
(Im doing Florida on april 13th). Let me know if i should go ahead (im gonna skip the big training day since i havent done any swimming and cycling for a few weeks).
