Hello, This is my first OS with EN. Looking for some specific advice for the refueling after and during the OS workouts, specific products that are good? Appreciate any suggestions.
Core Diet (and others) recommend a 4:1 ratio of carbs to protein. Core Diet specifically recommends Endurox for this ratio, but there are definitely other products out there. My understanding is that liquids are preferable since they are absorbed faster.
Mine is simple and includes only what I can buy at Costco:
For hard workouts over 90 minutes, within ten minutes of completion I combine about 16 ounces of almond milk, Hershey's pure chocolate and Vanilla Whey protein.............you cannot beat that one for the price or the nutritional content......
