adjust session times for trainer?

first real winter with no marathon means more bike time on the trainer.

Do y'all make any adjustments to GF or IM bike sessions if you are doing them indoors? i.e. - cut out some of the time around the main sets?

  • I have been doing a lot of the GF rides on the trainer and I do all the weekday ones as prescribed. I have now twice tried to do a 150 minute ride and both times cut it short at 120. I just don't have the mental toughness to go any more.
  • GF yes adjust as you see fit cuz there isn't an incentive as to the outcome. Doing an adjustment for an IM plan and you get back what you put in to your training as measured by your race.
