Andrea Rossi Macro Forum
Good morning Coach Rich, and thank you for the email detailing my season roadmap. Unfortunately I need to take some time off training, two to three weeks, due to emergency appendectomy performed on me two days ago. I hope this does not affect my Oceanside A race too much. When I purchased the 70.3 12 weeks Advanced Plan, I got to work on it right-away, so by the time I had surgery I had completed the first 3 weeks. I don't know if this will make a difference for my entire season, or just for the restart of my training upon my complete healing. I do suspect that I won't be able to complete all the hard workouts right-away, both for an inevitable loss of fitness and strength. I count on the fact that you'll be able to revise my training footprint and to guide me through what I can do to achier the best results.
Cheers,
Andrea Rossi

Hi Andrea,
Ok, sorry to hear about that. My recommendation is that you stick with your doctor's...recommendation...re activity, what you can and can't do, etc, until you are cleared to get back at it. Then you can circle back to us and we can have a conversation about what to do between then and Oceanside.
At the end of the day, you had pretty significant surgery and healing up from should be your #1 goal. It is what is, this is all just a game, take care of yourself!
