650 continental trainer tire

Does anyone know where I can get a trainer tire like the continental recommend by racer mate in 650?

Thanks in advance!

  • Be careful; 650 and 26" are not the same size. I have 650 wheels myself. It's a whole lot easier, if you want a separate training tire, to just buy a cheap one for trainer use.

    700c = 622mm

    650c = 571mm

    26" = 559mm (this is for many mountain bike tires)

  • I also have 650 wheels and have never been able to find a "trainer tire". I just use last year's old tire that has a few miles on it already and will put a fresh tire on the wheel when I finally get to go outside again in the spring.
  • My wife also rides a 650 tire and I searched and searched and searched for a 650 trainer tire couldn't find one. Now she is riding on her tires she used to ride outside and when the time comes to go outside again, we'll buy a new tire. It has held up very well on the trainer.
