Exercise Workout DVD's - Any Suggestions?

My 11 year old son and I have been doing some TRX, etc. for awhile and I was thinking we mix up our workouts with an exercise DVD.  Looking for more cardio oriented program.  I think P90x might be too hardcore for an 11 year old, but I don't know.

Any suggestions/insights would be appreciated.

Thanks,

John

  • Hi John! Split girl here! I just spent a couple months doing P90X. It's definitely doable for an 11 year old boy BUT just know he will likely be challenged. That's what makes the program great. What's also great about P90x for the kiddo's is that you can do most of the stuff without weights. The Plyometrics, CardioX and Core Synergistics work outs would be great for him. I'm keeping the YogaX, Core Synergistics and Ab RipperX work outs through my Outseason. Good luck and hooray for you that you're working out with the kiddo!
  • TapoutXT is good but a bit tough....and a lot of high intensity/core on back to back days. P90X2 is a lot more balance related but requires more 'stuff'.... I'd recommend any of the Turbulence Training you can down load...lots of good stuff including good body weight workouts. I use all as I I see the need for mixing things up. All can/should be modified for age and ability.
