  • Hi Patrick.  I move the bike to Monday.  Worked out fine. 

    Need some help:  I did the camp week this weekend.  All went well.  Sunday run wasn't able to get to MP-8:00-was able to push to 8:20.  Felt ok about this considering the training load. 

    My question:  I did the 2:30 long run this morning.  Not a good performance.  First 1:15 went well.  Trying to push to MP was a mess.  Maxed out at 8:30 and than fell apart to the point where I was 20s slower than LRP the last 30 minutes.  Fatigue driven.

    Your thoughts on whether or not I should modify tomorrow in order to be able to get in the long sessions this weekend.  Thanks.

  • Take Friday OFF. Not worth it. Rest, sleep in if you can!!!
  • Back on track.  Thanks for the guidance Patrick.  Had a great ride/run yesterday and great ride today.  Taking an extra day off after camp week was needed.  Thanks again.  Pat

  • Hi Patrick,  I hope you're doing well.  I'm not sure if you raced IMLP or not.  If so, I hope you had a great race.  Quick question, I'm racing Boston Olympic this weekend.  What zones should I try to race at for the Olympic distance?  I recently bike and run tested so I have pretty good watt and mph for bike and run.  Let me know when you have a moment.  Thanks.  Pat
  • Pat, have a blast!! We want you at just under Threshold for the bike (90%), and then start the run there and build. So just under Zone Four...going to be hot, so fuel up!!!!
