I hope I am using this forum correctly.
Coaches - I have a couple of long trips (6-8 days) that are breaking into my season planning. I travel frequently, usually 2-4 days at a time, but the impact is usally minimal and I just have to shift days or miss 1 or 2 workouts.
On these longer trips, I will be able to run, but most likely no biking or swimming (I'm checking on this) because of scheduling or availability of resources.
I'd like to schedule a run focus block during these weeks, but am not sure which weeks would be best.
Can you offer recommendations?
My trips occur during the following training blocks:
Week of GF 3 - 2/15-2/22
Week of GF 8 - 3/22-3/28

Hey Mike,
It's usually not neccesary to load up a formal training plan for these trips. Rather, it's better to make modifications to your existing plan. Please read this wiki post on modifying the plans for travel, etc.
