Eyeglasses
Any recommendations on frames or models from those of you that need to wear eyeglasses?
I think Nike has some sport frames, if I recall. This is my first year on an Aero Bike and I am finding my current specs are just not cutting it in the Aero position. Short of wearing contact lenses, which would be a poor compromise in my case, what if any suggestions do you have?

@Mike this has been a big issue for me. I get blinder each year! I have had success with Rudy Projects custom glasses. You can squeeze the nose piece so the glasses will sit up higher so you don't have the blind spot. I have them in amber and polarized and they have worked well since I got them at the start of last season.
@R it sounds crazy but when you are aero you are looking out right at the top of the frames. If there is any bulk to the frame you really cannot see.
I have terrible astigmatism along with my myopia and cannot wear contacts of any use. I also have a pair of Rudy Project frames with the clip-behind-the-colored-lens lenses. If your prescription is strong enough, this is the only kind of wrap around glasses that you can get. (If your prescription is in the -3 range or less, you can get more or less anything)
If you have a strong prescription like I do and you still want to try wrap around glasses like the Rudy's....it is ESSENTIAL that the optician cut the lenses knowing the angle that they will it around your face. Your prescription is written assuming that the lens will be flat in front of you, not "aero" shaped. I don't have mine in front of me, but there is probably a 20 degree or so tilt of the lens from the nose/center to the outside. Especially if you have astigmatism, this is a big deal and you will hate your lenses unless they take this into account when they cut them.
Mine are still not perfect, but they are very good.
One minor thing...if they are not adjusted totally perfectly, I have to trim my eyebrows and eyelashes to use them because the lens is pretty damn close to your eye and sweat/sunscreen/etc get on the inside of the lens very easily when the brows or lashes touch the lens or frame.
Thanks for the suggestions, looking out the top of my glasses has been the problem. I will check out the Rudy Project frames and of course, 'go aero' when checking out new frames and the Doc's. :-)
I have a couple of pairs of XX2i's France 2 Polarized Sport Readers. ( http://www.xx2i.com/collections/sport-readers/products/france2-polarized-sport-readers) I really, really like them as I can easily read my Joule/Garmin when tucked in the Aero position. They are very adjustable at the nose pads and temples, so I have no problem with fit or fogging.
Joe - Thanks for the suggestion, readers will not work for me. I am nearly blind as a bat - If it were not for my glasses I could not ride or drive. But you do bring up a good point about being able to see my garmin in aero.
