For those of you who own Garmin stuff...just curious how much stock you put into the TE score that it assigns each workout? Do you find it a useful metric?
@Dave, I look at it but that is it. I base all of my workouts on Tss/rTss points. I have WKO+ for my analysis software. It give me much more detail for every workout than the Garmin site.
Same here - I recognized it's calculated somehow AvgHR * workoutDuration ... or something similar ... you will get a straight 5.0 for almost every workout you will do on EN Baseline -> I totally ignore it
I look at it only she I'm doing something that I don't either have power or pace for, ie spin class. And I just look at it for fun and say "ooooh, Garmin gave me. 4.1 for spin class today. Nice!"
It gave me a 3.8 for yesterdays NOV OS run. I averaged 8:18 a mile for an hour, including my 5K pace miles. There were hills. The Garmin TE makes no sense. Ignore.
