Run Test

Coach Rich has me changed over to the 1/2 marathon plan, and outa nowhere my R IT band has started acting up. Not enough for run time/out, but just being a nuisance and fixable. My question is that the program calls for a run test tomorrow, and it wouldn't be very good! Advice?

  • Hells no on the run test. The only reason we test is to benchmark your fitness now...if you have a good sense of what that is, we can skip it altogether. If you need to test but are dealing with some issues right now, I suggest we dial it back until you are running "more" pain-free than you are now.
