Missed training days

Later this month I am going to miss a Saturday and Sunday of training as I am volunteering as the medical director for Ultraman Florida. I'm currently in week 4 of the OS. Do I change anything or just take the extra rest. My thought was to add an extra interval to each workout the week prior.

Also, I'm one of the mutants who can't not go to the pool. I miss the social aspect of swimming with my Tri buddies. What should I work on? I have been working on speed - basically converting the OS bike workouts to swim workouts.

  • @christian....a mutant, eh!? You can swim just keep it short...nothing longer than a 200, regardless of the effort / speed. I would suggest that you extend the Wed and Thursday workouts....that's it! Maybe but 20' each...add the intervals in if you can, or just "extra time" in Zone 2 (run) or Zone 3 (bike). And pictures from Ultraman, please!
