Magui Q - Questions Micro Thread 2014

HI. I have a few questions on the warmup...

Training Plan says 40min run and starts at MS. Official warmup is 15min... so is the total workout 40min INCLUDING the 15min WU or is it 40min PLUS the 15min WU?

 On Saturdays for example that it has a 30min run before bike,do we add a WU before or in the run workout?

 And on those days we have a run off the bike, do we add/include a WU to the run or not needed because we biked before?

  • Magui - Great question! First, it's important to note that total run time is the total time listed. Always! For runs before / after a bike, there's no scripted warm up. Just roll into it! Note the run before might take a bit to get up to speed. The warm up really matters for the standalone run sessions -- interval day and long run day!
