FL 70. 3 …..7 weeks to go
Wanted to introduce myself to the group as race captain for FL 70.3. We're almost at 7 weeks till race date, so I hope everyone's training is going smooth and the legs are still feeling fresh. I'll be starting weekly threads on training, so everyone can share their training stories and we can keep motivating each other to make it to Haines City ready to reach our goals.
In the meantime, Brenda sent this to me so I'll share it with the group:
IRONMAN 70.3 Florida Clubs: A practice swim has been scheduled for Sunday March 16 at Lake Eva. A bunch of us are planning on either running or biking after. The bike course is marked with directional signage.
As we get closer to race date, we'll set up a meeting time in Haines City. For those staying at one of the race hotels, the preferred rates expire on 3/11 at the Hampton Inn and on 3/3 at the Regal Palms & Resort.
