No Texas 70.3 for me. McCallum... out!

Had some medical issues (hernia and abdominal strain) that were bothering me but I had a 3-4 week bout with epididymitis. That appears to be cleared up but boy was that painful. If you know what it is you'll understand why biking and running weren't an option. Hernia is not at surgery level yet.

With the exception of the Tour of Sufferlandria, I have not trained at all for Galveston and six weeks isn't enough time for me to train to race to my satisfaction (4:50-ish finish time).

Thus ending a 5-year streak at that race. I shall return next year when I get to move up to the M45-49 AG.

It sucks because I love that race and my brother is coming down from Boston to do it and now I'm not racing.

Sucks because this is the only year we're both in the M40-44 AG so I was looking forward to having my bro as my rack neighbor.
