5K Test this week, what to do?
Week 8 - 5K Test will be tough for me this week, weather is supposed to be lousy, including more snow on Mon & Tue. I've set a min temp rule >30 deg fahrenheit after a cold, cold Turkey Trot I did in Nov which left me coughing like I have never before and I DO NOT WANT PNEUMONIA... So this has pretty much relegated me to indoor treadmill running this winter season.
I feel like I have been pushing pretty hard with my runs, do I suck it up and find an indoor track - or bump my pace a smidge and keep on training?
Thoughts from the wiser folks on board would be appreciated.

If you are pretty confident with what's going on (and depending on where you started), a SWAG bump is not outrageous if it's in the 5-10 s per mile range. If you think it's more than that, you owe yourself to only do a few seconds now and do a 5K whenever you get the chance, weather-wise.
Thanks for the confirmation. I am going to increase my pace and keep on it, I am pretty familiar with my run, cadence, stride, and form so I have a good handle on where I am at. There is nothing like the fun and excitement of a 5K test, even if I just run around the 'hood but after a brief warm-up this weekend we are headed back to the single and negative digits this week. Grrr...
Nothing wrong with the SWAG. You could also run the test on the treadmill if that where you are doing most of your running anyway.
