Dawn Cass's JOS - end goals?

Hello!  This is my first OS so still learning how everything works.  Did my bike test today with an FTP of 222, which is up from 197 so 12% increase and extremely happy.  Not so sure the run test will be as successful however let's wait and see.

I found it helpful to have a target goal...you set at FTP of 215 so pleased I "overachieved".  Will you be setting end of OS targets as well?

Anything I should be doing differently in the remaining weeks of OS (apart from adjusting my zones?)

Thanks!

    Congrats!

Dawn's New Goal: 235w. FYI, > 235w is getting into rarified air, FTP-wise, for womenz. Good work! No changes necessary, just bump your zones up and stick to the plan.

  • Thanks a lot Rich! Will be some challenging weeks ahead! Look in' forward to the "fun"!
  • Thanks Rich - follow up question now on my run test. It has been challenging to stay on pace the last weeks. I did the test and moved from vDot 42 now at vDot 43, with a 22:21 5k TT. The goal was to be at 44 based on what you put in the tracking...am I doing something wrong? Should I tailor my run training differently for rest of OS? Similar to FTP goal...do you have a goal in mind for me in the end?

    Thanks!
  • Nope, you're doing it right. New training paces are always tough for a couple weeks.

Patrick does the VDot goals so please reach out to him.
