Injury
Coach Rich, I have been diagnosed with a bad case of tendinitis in my left knee. I just started prolotherapy. Dr said to stay off for a few days and then resume normal activity as pain allows. Just looking for some advice on how to adjust my training. I haven't done anything in 10 days due to pain but at least now I have it diagnosed . I have Quassy Half in June and then my A Race is IMLP .

Darren,
Stay in the HIM plan and adjust your training according to what your knee and the doc say you should do. FYI, not being able to run but being able to ride normally isn't a big deal, as when you're healed up, that aerobic fitness you've build/maintained on the bike sorta translates over to the run. But not being to bike OR run is more of a big deal...but it is what it is. In my experience, you're better off almost completely standing down 100% and PT and get healed up like it's your job vs trying to train or maintain your fitness through this.
IOW, it is what it is. Better to fix it now and sort it out on the backend vs training half-ass and extending that healing process.
