Forums posts to the dashboard need to include a link to the forum thread
Ok, well I'm finally getting around to posting this as a suggestion.
Forums posts to the Dashboard really need to have a link to the thread where it was posted.
Currently, there are forum posts which appear from posts which I think (not sure) are made at the top level of the forums. These posts automatically get posted to the dashboard. Why this is? I don't have a clue. But the problem with these posts is there is no way to understand what the posted is about. In addition to these posts you can't comment or reply to them to continue the conversation. Not having the link on these particular posts from the forums leaves anyone viewing the dashboard in the dark with what the post is about and unable to find out more about the post. Other than trying to search the forums which is very difficult. Having the link to the forum where the post is made would be very helpful
For example these are currently on the dashboard with no way of knowing what they are talking about:
Mike BlackburnI'm in! Hope to see you 3/30! <- This makes no sense to someone reading it.</p>
Brad MarcusAs much as I want to sign up, being a first timer at this distance, I'm hesitant since I'm afraid it'll give me an "out" when I get to that dark place on race day....
Shari ShugartI'm in for IMLOU for 2014. It's my first. Transferred from IMTX - want the advantage of a little more time and summer events to prepare.
Kirsten SurprenantI am interested in joining this group too after my DNF at IMLP last year.
Patrick McCrannFolks, just sent you an email with some instructions...please stay tuned!!!! The group / resources are still in development...thanks!

Hi Darren,
Here is a screencast to explain what's going on. Hope this helps!
Thanks Rich, I think I remember the old website had the group logos and links before the whole blow up last year. What you say makes sense, I think because it is in our face every day it gets a bit annoying.
Thanks. I don't recall if the old website had that. Thanks for understanding the bigger associated with fixing little things like this. For example, we are working hard to investigate options to make the site much more friendly to mobile devices. That project has it's own time and money costs but is obviously much more important than the little friction points like this.
