Bike Repair - When to do

Hi Coach:

I was cleaning my bike Saturday and noticed the top tube is cracked, I don't think it will hurt to ride on trainer.  The Local Carbon Repair shop can fix I was trying to figure out the best time in the season - as I only have 1 bike - to get this done.  I'm in week 11 of Adv OS.  Should I wait until OS is done so I don't lose anything or do it now?  I will be doing a HIM in Sept/Oct timeframe.

    Sooner rather than later, I say. You definitely don't want to ride on the road with a known crack in the tube.

    Not sure about the reputation of your local repair shop but the guys at Calfee (bike manufacturer in Cali) are top notch. They are pretty much the default carbon repair shop for most manufacturers.
