Dinner or post race get together?

Hi guys, wanted to see if anyone is interested in an informal get together on fri (dinner?) or on sat after the race.

Let me know if you're interested... based on the numbers we'll find a good spot.

In the past we did a post race lunch at Boardwalk Pizza (I think? Something like that...) on PCH. Good pizza and beer.

Dinner should be a priority over post race. This race is sort of local event and people tend to scatter after the finish.

I will have to double check with my activities coordinator, but I would like to do dinner. My group would be 3 adults (including myself) and one toddler. I will post back here after I have final confirmation!

I'm in a similar spot at Peter....I'd prefer dinner and would love to try and make it work. It'll be me, my bride & our youngest kiddo (15 months).

Sounds good... I can make it after the race but I won't make it down to Oceanside in time for dinner.

Any suggestions on a place... I'm not too familiar with Oceanside?

Let me know if you guys can coordinate with this thread or if you want me to make a reservation.

Nice to see you talking about a get together team. George, when the location is decided, pleas put it on the EN Event sheet for your race. That link can be found in the super duper admin thread. Getting excited for you all. Maybe that Pizza place that Rich mentions above might be a good option to meet?

RSVP for 2 adults and one 15 month old Fratelli's looks great to me as well. I agree that earlier is better...5 - 5:30 p.m. would be fantastic.

@David. I wish! Unfortunately my mother-in-law is going through some troubling times and my wife has to stay to take care of her. I will be going this weekend with my friend Jon. He is actually considering racing even though he hasn't run in 2 months!
