Schedule help please

Hi Coach,

I need help with my schedule again. I am in week 10 of HI plan right now. Next week Thursday I am going to Cabo to support Rich. We are staying until Saturday 04/05. I will not have a bike there. Could you please advise how to adjust my plan?

  • Anna, very exciting!!! Pack your swim stuff and the run shoes! Good news is that you are quite a ways away from your race...so no real pressure there. Do regular week through Wed. Thursday off for Travel. Friday is some form of swim / short run (call it a 45' run with strides). Sat is your long run from Thursday (bring HYDRATION!!!!) and Sunday is cheering. Then that next week is all about balancing the run with some swimming. I want about 45' a day as you can. Example:

    Mon - 45' with 2 x 1 mile at Z4.
    Tues - 45' easy with strides at the end.
    Wed - Swim Only.
    Thu - Long Run Day
    Fri - Swim
    Sat - Travel Day
    Sun - Easy ride up to 2 hours...mostly Zone 2, get to know your bike again. If you feel good, you can push the last 1/3 of this ride in Zone 3 / ABP.

    Monday at work will be wicked hard to get stuff done...if you need to take the day off to get back up to speed...doooooo it. image
