Karim ElDib Adjusted_Training Plan
Hello Coach Rich,
Due to a series of work issues I am really just getting started with EN Training. I had emailed support and Anne wrote that I should start a micro thread. TO me it looks like macro thread is more in line with my questions so I am posting this to both micro and macro forums
For context : Currently my longest run is about 60-70 min. I am up to about 75 min on bike trainer and am swimming 1 hour. I am very muscle deficient (small build, 52 years old) and know that my quads are particularly weak. I am very aware that strength training is important me and I already have begun quad and core strenthening
<> Though I have not had much chance to start utilizing your web site resources, I am finally ready to start my training cycle. I can tell that I will like the coaching but don't know if it is better to put my membership on hold for a month and then restart once I have a little bit of a base? Or can we set a new training plan that is still consistent with getting mileage and yardage for Lake Placid 2014?
Please advise. Thank-you for your time. Regards, Karim ElDib

Welcome back! Let's start the process over so we get you back on track for where your fitness really is. Please take the Season Planning Survey here, http://members.endurancenation.us/TrainingPlan/SeasonPlanningSurvey.aspx, and I'll make my recommendations based on your description above. Thanks.
Hello Coach Rich,
I havent seen my adjusted plan yet. i'm not sure if i didnt resubmit correctly. In short, I would like to see if you have a training program, (IMLP2014 is still my A race and priority). But due to injury issues and unexpected work, I haven't been able to really start training.
I am hoping for a plan that includes a gradual base building - but still gets me up to mileage for 7/27/2014 (currently at 70 min on bike trainer, and run, 45 min on swim). Hope this isnt complicating matters. If yoiu think that new adjusted plan is not poss - maybe its better to put my membership on hold for the next month or so till i build a base. Please advise. Thank-you Karim ElDib
Doing this today, I try not work on the weekends :-)
Thanks Coach Rich,
Sorry about that. Didn't take note of the weekend.
