More "Get Faster" questions

When you respond to my March 17 posting about the Get Faster plan, I now have two additional questions.  First, what should be my goal zone(s) to maintain during my 13.1 on April 12.  Second, assuming I do not do the FTP and LT tests during the week leading up to the race, when would you suggest I do them?  Thanks.

Second, assuming I do not do the FTP and LT tests during the week leading up to the race, when would you suggest I do them?  Thanks. The half marathon would serve as your test (ie, you'll extract a VDot and associated training paces from that) and you could then test the bike the following week, replacing one of the interval bikes with the bike test. Probably best to test after ~Wed, to give yourself time to recover after the half marathon.
