Hi Rich - got the season plan and I'm working to digest it. A couple of questions on season structure.
1. My first race (C race) of the year falls in week 16 of short course training on 5/3. It's a duathlon. I can race 3/20/3 or 2/10/2 Any thoughts on which would be better?
2. I am loading up the HIM plan the week of 7/7 to end on 9/7. Am I loading beginner, inermediate, or advanced?
3. I am competing in a 2 mile open water swim on 8/9 during week 16 of my HIM plan. Planning to ride later that day with friends. Any thoughts on how the plays into the rest of my training in that period?
4. I load up the IM plan for Arizona beginning 8/18 to end on 11/16 Am I loading the beginner, intermediate, or advanced plan?

Perhaps I clicked the wrong button when doing my survey. I apologize if I did that. My HIM PR is 5:15. My only Ironman finish was 12:57. I think this makes me an intermediate athlete, right?
The advanced short course plan seems to be working for me right now (my first week). Should I scrap it and load the inermediate short course plan? Should I plan to load intermediate for get faster, HIM, and IM?
