Leaving the Host Hotel

I need to return home quickly after I complete my race. I've read somewhere that the parking lot of the host hotel is blocked by the run course.

Does anyone have a suggestion for where my Sherpa should park my car the day of the race?

Chris, the best bet is probably to park in the Schlitterbahn lots that are just south of the water park.  Look at it on Google maps satellite view.  The lots are just south of where the run course aid station #2 is on the run course map.  Two lots with Beech to the west and Lockheed to the east and intersected by Airport.  Those lots "should" be open.  Maybe 1/4 mile from transition.

No problem. I would also suggest parking your vehicle in one of those lots the night before. Race morning traffic is kind of nuts around there and you wouldn't want to waste time moving the car.
