Overall plan

Hi Rich,

I just loaded my Marathon plan per the roadmap you gave me and find that I have 18miles or 3hrs run this comming Sat. My longgest run in OS was 90min I find this quite a big step....just wondering if I loaded the proper plan???? Marathon ballanced intermediate 24wks.

    Sorry, I thought I put this to Patrick's attention, as he's the marathon guy. I'll do that again.

  • Yves, so sorry, I am on vacation and only saw this. Heck no you shouldn't do that kind of leap...the plan is build considering you started it on week 1...but you were in the OS. It's a race simulation run, so we can skip the full time but we do want to start building up that 90' run...so I would go for a 105' (One hour, 45-minute) run...mostly steady with a solid last 30 minutes in upper Zone 2.

    Then we can get back on track with your plan...

    No worries I will ramp up....I just feel I'm a bit late in the game for the Marathon...no big deal it's not an A race.
    I'll be in Tucson from April 10th to 22nd should I have some specific change to the plan?
    Hope you enjoy your vacation....mine are coming quick!
