Adjusting week 10 IHIM Plan

I did a gran fondo last weekend with a 560 training load. Feeling tired & sore. Should i really do another big weekend or tweak the plan?

  • Josiah, nice!! Jealous we don't have such a thing here...but I digress. I say no need for the big day given your load. I would go with Friday OFF (to recover) and then a Saturday ride of about 3 hours. If required you can steal last weeks ride and repeat it here. Sunday is a 90' ABP ride...then next week we are back at it. Friday off is for absorption purposes....560 load is great but entirely useless unless you can process it to your advantage!
