2014 EN Spring Fling "Shell Yourself" Challenge
This is the last challenge of the season, so hope you can join us for this.
DETAILS:
We see this as a 24hr Challenge that you do as much exercise as you can in one day. But….this would not be a challenge if there was not a twist.
The TWIST - You will earn an EXTRA 50 points for doing as much as you can in as many of our three sports as you can in one day. e.g. you start the challenge at 8am on Saturday. If you do a swim/bike and a run before midnight on the Saturday you get the 50 points, but if you do a swim and a bike on the Saturday and then the run on the Sunday before 8am you just get the TSS points.
Those of you doing your Big Day as part of your Ironman Training Prep can use that data for this challenge!
A spreadsheet has been created for you to track your results and compile your final score!
All you have to do is:
1. pick a weekend
2. put your name down
3. record your TSS scores for the sports you have chosen and the sheet calculates your total for the day(s).
The person with the highest TSS is the 2014 March Fling “Shell Yourself “Challenge is the Winner.
Here is a video from the 2013 Challenge on how to record your data. Make sure you are entering your data into the 2014 spread sheet.
We have chosen to use TSS (Training Stress Score) as the measuring tool.
Since we want everyone to play (including those without power) below you will find links on how to calculate your TSS for swimming/running and biking. Those with power have this capacity in the software they use when downloading their info.

Can I do this retroactively? I did a few 8-hour days as part of an Epic Camp earlier this month.
