Marcus Chapman: Macro Questions
Hello Coach,
Two Questions (with the preface that I am scheduled for Challenge AC (140.6) June 29th and just finishing up 2 week swim camp and will begin Advanced IM Plan on Monday):
1. Unexpected business trip to Japan now has claimed ~7 training days in May (Leave Sat May 10th and Return Fri May 16th), though I think I can get in 4 hours Sat morning before heading to airport. How should I handle this trip given timing relative to race? Hotel should have treadmills otherwise I can always figure out a way to run. Pictures show a 3 lane lap pool but spidey sense tells me it is going to be compact.
2. April 20th and 21st it looks like I will be flying solo with both days sans family commitments. Would you suggest an intensive 2 day block (or perhaps 3 if I throw in 4-5 hrs Tues morning)? Or should I just stick to the plan?
