Hi Coaches

I am running Boston in two weeks. Wondering how I should structure next week? Have been following the OS bike workouts.

My thinking:

M: rest

T: Bike 60 minute 3 x 8 Z4

Wed: Run 6 easy with  6 x 90 hard/2 recovery

Thu: Bike 60 minutes  with maybe 6 x 90 VO2?

Fri: 6 run with some strides

Sat: Bike easy 45 minutes

Su: 12-13 run with some MP miles

  • Anu, that's great but keep sunday to 8 to 10 miles...you can't be rested enough for Boston!!!! image
  • Cool, I am always up for running less during taper. The rest of it looks okay?
    Also what would you suggest for next week?

    M: rest
    T: 5 miles with 2 MP
    W: 3 easy
    Th: 30 minutes bike easy
    F: 4 with strides
    Sa: Travel day
    Su: 3 shakeout run

  • Next week looks good..I'd make the Thursday ride a 45' session...otherwise fill extra time with stretching, etc!!!
