Beth Casper's Micro Thread

Patrick, it was great speaking with you this morning.  To follow up, I could use some advice on tweaking the plans for my current level of fitness.  As we discussed, I'm only just recently recovered from a calf/achilles injury.  So, I'm not as fit as I should be at this point.  I am registered for Raleigh 70.3 and IM Chat.

  • Beth, great to chat to you as well. I am pretty sure Rich is going to have you in the Half Ironman plan for Raleigh....so I'd like you to load that up. This week is about getting into your rhythm with the plan, so do the workouts for time but no intensity really. Next week we do the week and we add some Zone 3 (half marathon on run, half iron on bike) to the last 1/3 of your workouts...then in the third week (4/21) we can get down to business...

    Do you need me to modify any of the actual workouts based on your training schedule? If so, please let me know!
