I had a lot of peeps out in NOLA yesterday! Hope all went well for everyone!

The female pro winner, Lauren Barnett, is a friend of mine here in Dallas. She finished in 4:21. It was her 70.3 pro debut (after a false start with a bike accident pre-race at Panama 70.3 earlier this year). I remember riding with her when she first started many years ago, when I could beat her up a hill. Those days are LONG gone! haha
So proud of her and happy for her!

I saw her at the start and that was it. We had some great folks at the NOLA race, want to thank Rick from Mobile, AL for running with me the last few miles. I could not have made it without him!

I will write a race report, but I can sum up my day as a lot of warm weather compared to Chicago, and PF really limited my running all year, longest run was 7 miles, but I finished, albeit much slower than planned.
