Hi Coach Patrick!

I'm on week 16 of IMTX and this Sunday I'm scheduled for a 135 min run.  However, I'm gonna have to move that to Mon on wk 17.  

On week 17 there's a scheduled 150 min run for Thurs, which I would have to move to Wed because I do my long rides on Thurs and Friday.  If I were to do that, that means I would only have 1 day in between those 2 long runs.  How should I modify that?

  • I suggest you cut them both to two hours. So two hours on Monday and then two hours again on Wednesday with the Tuesday in between just being an easy swim workout. Your Thursday will suffer a bit but we need those runs in. Keep them flat and safe and easy terrain!!
