Transition Bike Ride
Since this is the first week of a two week transition before diving into IM CDA training, and the plan called for a longer bike ride of my choosing, I decided to head out and complete one loop of the IM CDA course.
This was to be my longest bike ride since last fall (and only my third outdoor bike ride this year) and I was interested on how I would feel and if the EN OS plan would really work.
Well I had a danged good ride. The uphills, as always were tough, but I pushed through out the the ride and am very happy to report that my strength and stamina were just fine.
Here are the numbers:
Entire workout (214 watts):
Duration: 3:06:27 (3:18:33)
Work: 2396 kJ
TSS: 235.2 (intensity factor 0.87)
Norm Power: 236
VI: 1.1
Pw:HR: 6.3%
Pa:HR: 1.21%
Distance: 54.495 mi

IM sorry, did you just ride .87 for 56 miles. That's awesome...well done Al!
Any run off the bike and if so how did you feel? Great ride!!
Sweet Ride, hope you rewarded yourself after that.
Scary. How's the road surface - any new asphalt or chip seal ?
@Al - There is a bit of road repair in progress close to Hayden Lake. The rest of the course is unchanged.
