Week 13 IHIM STRESS!

Hi coach- Headed to Chicago for kids spring break and will likely miss most of next week (IHIM -13). How bad will it be for my fitness to miss that much training, especially the long rides? This really has me stressed!!

  • Josiah -- we totally have a "no kids" policy here on the team. You are going to have to get rid of them. No seriously, it's totally fine. We can accommodate you by having you do frequent runs versus the long workouts and we look to pick things up when you come back.

    As a baseline you're looking at 45 minute run a day with some strides pretty much in zone one to zone two. I would try to keep your interval run and your long run from the week if possible. If you want more detail from me let me know what your availability is and we'll make it work. But we still want you to enjoy your break!
