Bad luck, sick for week, what to do?
I am to start swim camp today. Last week was my week 14 of OS. Haven´t been able to do train/test last week because of a infection and I am on still antibiotics right now. Feel like I can get back into easy training as of today.
What do you suggest I do this week? And what about the testing (and the race I missed). I am supposed to do 1 week of SC and then week 8 of HIM.
Thanks, Marleen

If you feel like you have a handle on what your bike and run paces/effort should be there's no need to test. Most people by week 14 have a pretty good idea of "this" is my bike effort, and "this" is my run pace. If that's not the case for you, and will need to figure out a test.
Of course, we have to deal with your health first. The larger point of some campus to have you recover -- so I have no problem with you focusing primarily on recovery this week. So as you get back into training, I'd like you to follow the layout of the week but really just go to the motions and keep the intensity down. If it's says bike for an hour then bike easy up to an hour depending how you feel. More importantly I want to make you understand how critical it is for you to get good consistent sleep as well as staying hydrated and topped off on your vitamin C.
Once the effort that you see on the computer matches the effort you feel like your body is making, that perceived effort, then it's time to get back into your regular training. If everything works out to be starting the half Ironman plan with a clean bill of health. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
