Patti's I did not do camp week!
Last weekend I could not do either of my rides due to having my neuroma in my foot shot up. the good news is that I am running now in my Hoka's at similar pace as Newtons without pain!!!!!
so, I want to catch up a little this week. I continue to have to do the rides as one big ride as I work on the weekend.
Question: any recommendations on that?
Friday I'll start out at about 8AM and do the hills and try to maintain effort at race pace. (I would love to retire or at least cut back but kid's still in college.... so two shifts in the ER this weekend and busy in office but I can get my workouts in most of the time during the week) will do Long swim same day in quarry just to "chill"

A Friday long ride is ok. If your weekdays are flexible, you might try a Monday / Friday long ride plan, with long run on Tuesday, swim only on Wed, FTP ride + brick run on Thurs.
you crack me up:) Yes the neuroma should be arrested and go to jail!
I will try to incorporate your recommendations. Many thanks!
however, major issue with power tap. it did this to me during Mont Tremblant too. I'm cranking up hills and the power meter reads 0, 40, 50. and then jumps at most to 100. this is with new batteries and reading on the Edge 705 and the Garmin 910. and was at mile 30 on ride! I re-calibrated and it did not make a difference. note that at mile 70 the hub started working again.
I really don't know what to do! do I send the wheel back? it would suck big time if this happened on my race. It really screwed up my Mojo at tremblant!
Heart rate on hills and heat does not work very well.
Help!!!! Rich? do I send the wheel back? race is May 18th
regarding PT. am in contact wit Wheel builder and will be able to resolve this issue more likely than not. Whew!
