Short Course Week 14 - Testing Week

Monday Swim Test - Good!

Tuesday bike test - Pretty good. Then the rails came off for work and family commitments....

Tuesday run - missed

Wednesday - Plan specified rest day

Thursday run test - missed (was going to make up today)

Friday run test / swim - missed

Do I jump back into jump back in tomorrow with a quality ride / run and my normal Sunday run? Do I shift my run test into next week or think about doing it on Sunday?

  • yeah.... never mind. I found time to squeeze in a run after church in lieu of grocery shopping. :) knocked 1:40 off my previous 5K time. Booya!

    Back on the horse tomorrow for the normal Saturday brick tomorrow. I will hold back on the pace on back half of the run if I'm feeling sluggish.

    You were patient, and you were rewarded! That's a serious bump in fitness, nice work! It's really important that you get good at rolling with the punches there, as they never stop coming. :-) Let me know how this week is going when you get a chance…
