  • @Doug, I had one of those rides a few weeks ago, brutal. It would have been great to have had a hot tub available after that ride to thaw!

    Yesterday's 4 hour ride went much better than the previous week's long ride, both comfort and energy levels. I was a little below the power targets but not by too much; it probably didn't help that I bumped the FTP up this week as well. Got the 1 hour run done after that with a negative split and the legs felt good the whole time. Felt really good afterwards as well so that helped put last Saturday to rest. Also got a nice solid hour of swimming in this morning.
  • Finally got my MTB out for a ride below doesn't count the 2 miles out and back in for a coat!

    Not doing the PLAN long Z3 work today -the 1 hr MTB + yoga/stretches etc will be enough me thinks.
    Foot is really starting to be distressing. That achy pain ya get with a FX. No so big deal except its causing me to adjust foot strike which is causing other issues..... gerrr.
