Friday Practice Swim
I'll be in Texas next week supporting a friend who's doing the IM. I would like to get in my swim workout during the open swim time on Friday. Does anyone know how tightly controlled the access is, such as needing a participant wrist band in order to enter the water?

I would look for a local pool and swim there.
Thanks for cheering us on!

It seemed pretty tight last year from what I remember. It's fairly unpleasant water, too...unless you are from the great midwest and usually do your tri swim in murky inland lake water....
You might be able to jump in away from the boat ramp at the end of the park I doubt they will come running after you but I dunno....just saying.
