Hi,

Next week is week 15 of my advanced HIM. I will be having a Triple T in Ohio, meaning a super sprint on Friday, two OD's on Saturday and a Half Ironman on Sunday. I won't be pushing as in an A race, but of course, it's a race, so I will exhaust myself. It's also a lot of miles.

How do I need to adjust week 15 of the program in order to get it right for a good preparation for the weekend?

Thanks, Xavier

  • XT - regular week through Tuesday. Then wed is swim only, thurs off...then it's go time. Remember to eat every race -- you are eating and drinking on Friday for Sunday's race… Don't forget that. :-) Oh, and take lots of pictures.
  • Patrick,

Thanks. Shared my experience from the TTT at the Macro Forum with Rich. Right now I am still somewhat sore in my legs. Guess I will be taking it easy this week. Just swimming today at moderate intensity, and some stretch/foam/strength stuff maybe. What's your suggestion for the rest of this weeks program?

    Thanks, Xavier
  • I think following the transition plan is best. Anything you can do to absorb the work is a priority, there is no workout that will make this get better faster.
