Last Weigh in for March

So my scale did not like transition week I gained 2lbs, actually one more than that but I caught things late on the weekend to turn it around.

Currently 218 and in need of some serious focus.  I've been floating around the 215-220 for some time now.  I just have to get it done.  First mini goal is to break the 215 barrier in two weeks.

Post your weight here:

  • Thanks Gordon, I'm so greatful this thread is still going! I'm back down to my "not training" weight and things seem to be getting easier now that I'm doing a small bit of running again. I have hope that I'll be at race weight by IMoo after all. Just 5 lbs to go and they should drop with more running.
  • Hey Gordon, don't worry about transition week, once you are back to training the weight will continue to come back. Last year I went on vacation for 10 days during transition and put a few pounds on...which all came off in less then 2 weeks. I personally look tranistion time as a mental break on everything including my nutrition/diet.

Well, hanging out with people that were faster, skinnier, and have better eating habits then me all weekend helped me out. I am at my lowest weight of this year at 138. 3 more lbs to go by race season!
  • @Nemo - great to see things coming around.  I know with myself as well the lbs come off more easily with running for whatever reason.

@ Matt - I hear you but I just went a little crazy on the relax and food consumption over the first transition week.  Couple that with lack of sleep, a few beers and it seems I am bordering on sick.  So that makes for a two week transition which is fine as I think I was on the edge and needed the time anyway.

Glad to help out with the thread, I need to stay accountable and on track as well.

  • well, I can't say I had a bad week. I didn't gain and I didn't lose either, staying steady at 232. I think I'll drop at least another thirty prior to IMAZ in November. Thanks Gordon, the weekly check-in keeps me accountable (at least to myself) as well. Keep up the work all.
