Your Plan Starts Soon

Why does my Training Plan Central say "Your Plan Starts Soon" ?  Did I do something wrong after the Nov OS?

Comments

  • You could be transitioning?
  • Did you goto plan central and click "change my plan"? Perhaps you need to update your training plan.
  • I guess I'm transitioning. Does it automatically pick the start date for you? I only have 2 weeks of transition and 4 weeks of general prep. I chose "General Prep" with the plan ending on 5/2/10. Does it automatically choose 2 weeks transition and start the "General Prep" to do 4 weeks ending on 5/2? What if I only wanted 1 week of Transition? Just askin'
  • I am guessing that since you choose the END date, it works backward to the start date based on the number of weeks in the plan. General prep is usually 4 weeks. So until you hit 4 weeks from 5/2, you won't have a plan and would be transitioning. If this is not what you want, then you need to change the "END ON" date. Transition is unstructured and restful.
  • Good question.  It cannot have anticiapted whether you chose a 1 or 2 week transition.  I know when I first changed my plan that it said the same thing that my plan was starting soon and then one day it just popped in with my plan.  Maybe try to change your plan again?

  • Ended Nov. OS. Chose General Prep Block 1 to end 5/2, because my A race is Lake Placid. General prep should end with 12 weeks to Placid, at which time I'd start the 12 week, right? Or am I simply supposed to choose the 12 week to IM Placid NOW, and everything else will be filled in? Not understanding what I SHOULD be seeing (if anything).
  • Michele: That is making more sense. So, General Prep will start next week.
  • You want to know what date is 12 weeks back from Placid so that you know when to change the plan again.
  • Should be May 2, so that the 12-week plan starts May 3
  • Only if you request the change around May 1 or 2. Print out what you need of that last week of general prep.
