Question about trial week tests

Hi, I just logged on to my account to see what my trial week would be and I noticed that it had already passed. I thought my first week with EN plan would start on May 19 but it started May 12. I'm confused because I signed up midweek on May 15. Wouldn't it start the following week? What do I do now as I've missed the tests on the weekend? I'm not sure I'm reading everything correctly. Let me know what to do? Thanks.

    Hi Kevin,

I completed your Triathlon Season RoadMap on 5/15, and you should have received an email notification about that. Please check your spam filter and click on think.

Or you can view it by going to Training / Triathlon Season RoadMap in the top navigation. Please read the message, see the TSR and accompanying screencast for instructions and next steps.

    Welcome aboard!

  • Since I'm already past the trial week tests that I missed and am on week 2 (Get Faster Intermediate), do I just continue with this schedule or go back and start with trial week 1 schedule instead?
  • Kevin,

    Do this:

    • Go to your training plan and reload the Get Faster plan, setting it to end on 7/13. This will make this week = GF Wk1, which does include tests.
    • Then, this coming Sunday or Monday, reload the GF plan to end on 7/6. This will make next week = GF Wk3
    • Then carry on with the rest of the TSR I created for you.

Regarding the trial week and the training plan:

    • Your trial membership -- the period of time during which you have access to the site and before we charge you (at the end of 7 days) is a straight 7 days. Create your trial on Tuesday and you're billed on the following Tuesday (I think...for example )
    • However, the training plans are written as Monday - Sunday. So in the Trial training plan, we put the tests on the weekend so regardless of when you start your trial membership, you'll have test on the weekend, you use those to set your training zones, and you're ready to go on the following Monday when your Trial training plan ends and you start using the guidance I've given you in your TSR.

Thanks, let me know if you have any questions.
